Fatima

Fatima is a five-year-old female with a heart condition known as Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), as well as an undiagnosed syndrome that had left her unable to walk or talk. TOF is a heart condition that presents four major abnormalities: an overdeveloped right ventricle, a hole between the ventricles (VSD), a narrowing of the pulmonary artery, and a malpositioned aorta. Though this abnormality is considered quite common, the doctors were concerned with how Fatima would handle the surgery due to her undiagnosed syndrome. Thankfully, her surgery was a success and she recovered well.
