Orthopedic Mission

Aeshah

AaeshaAeshah is a fourteen-year old girl suffering from scoliosis (a side-to-side curvature of the spine). The surgeons at Shriners Childrens Hospital in Sacramento, CA are looking forward to trying to correct this spine deformity and ultimately giving Aeshah a better quality of life.

Aeshah was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis by the Shriner's doctor and scheduled for several follow up tests, including a gentics test, a CT mylegram, and several lab tests.  Her medical conditions is the most complicated of the three and doctors felt that these tests are necessary before any future plans can be made for surgery.
