Fatima
Fatima is a five-year old girl that was suffering from right eye cataracts and nystagmus. Before her surgery, she would get very close up to our volunteers in an attempt to see them better. She would even touch their faces as if to get a better mental picture of them. After her surgery, she would stand further back to get a good look at us. She was so pleased with the result of her surgery that she gave lots of hugs as if she was constantly saying, "Thanks." We could not have been happier to be a part of such a life-changing event!
