Mohammed

Mohammed is three-years old and came to us suffering from bilateral congenital cataracts. The doctors did operate on Mohammed's eyes but once in, were concerned that he may have a cancerous tumor, which they thought could be the cause of his vision malady. The doctors decided to stop the surgery and instead, ordered a CAT scan for him. Thankfully, no cancer was found but sadly, they determined that Mohammed is in fact blind and his condition is inoperable. As a result of the finding, CINI is looking into vocational resources in Baghdad for Mohammed that will enable him to learn skills that will help him to overcome his handicap. Mohammed is such a bright little boy, and we will do everything we can to find him the help he needs.
